How to cover uppsc syllabus

Hi, I am Sudhanshu Kumar, the director and mentor of Darsh IAS.

Many UPPSC aspirants must be thinking about how can we cover the syllabus of UPPSC prelims or mains in 15 days or how can we revise it, this is not possible at all, but I believe that it is absolutely possible because 15 days of focus can do what 6 months of doubt can’t. I also share this strategy with the students of my institute, so they can easily crack any exam, be it civil services or any entrance, with this strategy by working hard a little.

So let us break down this strategy step by step.

Step-1 (Stay Mentally sharp and Don’t panic)

      • Focus on the most important topics and static subjects with high ROI (Return on investment) Like History, Political Science, Geography, and International Relations.

      • Read subjects you are comfortable with. Don’t re-precise subjects you are an expert in.

      • Along with studies, take care of your mental and physical health as well.

      • Sleep 6 to 7 hours in a day

      • Workout 30 mins or 1 hour in a day

      • Do not use social media & play games too much

    Step-2 (Create a 15-day study plan)

    DaysFocused Subjects
Day 1-5GS Subjects (Polity, History, Economics, Geography)
Day 6-10Current affairs, Environment, Science & Tech
Day 11-15Full Revision, Mock Test, PYQ Solutions

Step-3 (Don’t read again, Do smart revision)

        • Don’t read the full book instead read highlighted notes.

        • Believe in short notes

        • Submit Mock Test Darsh IAS (If enrolled), Resolve PYQ’s

      Step-4 (Practice hard)

          • Practice like tomorrow is exam day Solve mock tests every day (50 questions of every subject)

          • 1 week before the exam solve full-length questions and increase the number of mock test questions (50 to 250)

          • The main thing is to analyze your answers note down your mistakes, increase the question-solving time

        Step-5 (Don’t do it)

Don’t do those things while you are preparing:

            • Dont start new books when you are preparing for the exam

            • Do not depend on YouTube for revision work

            • Dont overtest yourself

            • Do not take stress, keep calm, and prepare

          Conclusion

At Darsh IAS, we believe that if you study with the right mindset, consistency, and hard work even 15 days are enough to turn preparation into success. Stay focused, trust your hard work, and follow this structured study plan. Remember, clarity, consistency, and confidence are your greatest allies in these final days.
